Sybarite is a London based architectural and design practice that aim to bring timeless style and luxury through their work. Since forming in 2002, Sybarite have completed over 600 diverse projects worldwide, covering residential houses, hotels, product designs and retail projects.
The award winning architectural firm was looking for a promotional box to present to clients with cards inside that showed photography of past project case studies. Create-This was chosen to cardboard engineer and produce a stylish and sophisticated design that reflected Sybarite’s brand image.
Create-This specialise in the design and production of cardboard engineered products ranging across packaging, direct mail and point of sale. Sybarite approached Create-This with a proposed design, Create-This then refined the design and created mock ups to test the box repeatedly, ensuring the complicated design retained a high level of strength and presentation on all edges and creases.
The 500 box run were made using 465ums/315gsm Korsnas White material, which was chosen for the strength required to hold the angles of the box in place. The box was litho printed 1 colour, with 24 photography cards inside, printed litho with 4 colour process and matt lamination. The box was then die cut and carefully hand assembled, with a ribbon added inside to hold the photographic cards. The box was finished with matt lamination for protection and to add to the luxury image required from the packaging. Two sets of magnets were used on the lid to create a smooth closure.
