The manual extending (expanding) mailer is another mailing solution that comes in a compact size. The most popular sizes of this direct mail piece are A6, DL and A5 – we have produced larger versions. The extending mailer has a main body and there is a wing on each side which when pulled out reveals more marketing messages and product information. When you pull one wing out from one side it automatically extends the wing on the opposite side. The manual extender has an internal polythene belt which moves both extender cards. There is also an automatic extending mailer option available which has elastic bands, when you remove this from a board envelope the item extends by itself.
